Loneliness can strike anyone, anywhere. But there’s one thing that can always help — the power of a familiar voice. During Mental Health Awareness Week, we created a campaign encouraging Brits to send voice notes to help combat loneliness.

We enlisted ITV stars including Laura Whitmore, Alex Beresford and Maura Higgins to record voice notes, with advice on how to reach out to friends or family who might be feeling lonely.

Then, we placed these voice notes in places where people might have a moment to reach out. From cabs to pizza boxes and beer mats to bus stops.

When people scanned each celebrity’s voice note with their phone, they’d hear the recording, then could keep scrolling for practical advice on combatting social isolation.

The campaign was part of ITV’s Britain Get Talking initiative, and was awarded Ad Of The Day in Campaign Magazine and The Drum. It was also featured on LBB, Ad Age and This Morning.
